The aging of the population, the increasing number of older and younger New Yorkers who are disabled, projected demand for professional and paraprofessional caregivers, and technological advances are creating new needs as well as opportunities for more responsive care. Through a variety of initiatives, the Fund is working to understand and address the needs of aging and chronically ill New Yorkers and to determine how best to support their family caregivers.
