To create the Learning for Life program to provide one-on-one volunteer coaching and mentoring to patients with diabetes, focused on improving their health literacy skills related to medication management and dietary guidelines. The Adult Literacy Media Alliance will work with staff from the pharmacy and dietary departments to design patient education materials.
