Greater New York Hospital Foundation
This grant will continue supporting the successful collaborative project launched by the Fund, the Greater New York Hospital Foundation, and 37 participating hospitals to reduce central line-associated bloodstream (CLAB) infections in ICUs. Through the CLAB Collaborative, participants have achieved significant overall improvements, with two-thirds of the hospitals cutting their infection rates by more than half over a seven-month period. This grant will help participants sustain the low levels of CLAB infections and will also develop, implement, and monitor additional quality improvement and patient safety goals focused on ICUs.
