The 23rd Annual Symposium on Health Care Services in New York—presented by United Hospital Fund and GNYHA Foundation in collaboration with leading health research organizations in New York—will take place on Wednesday, October 24, 2012.

The symposium will feature a keynote presentation by Thomas A. Farley, Commissioner, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, concurrent roundtables on selected topics in health care, and a poster session showcasing recent work in program evaluation and research.

Inaugurated in 1990 by the GNYHA Foundation and the United Hospital Fund, the Symposium on Health Care Services in New York: Research and Practice is held each year to foster collaboration on and understanding of current health care research in New York, build bridges among health services researchers and practitioners, and showcase the New York health services research community.  The Symposium is organized in collaboration with leading health services research institutions in the New York metropolitan region, each of which is represented on the Symposium Planning Committee.
