One in four children attending public elementary school in New York is obese and at risk for serious health problems as they grow older, including asthma, diabetes, and heart disease. At this free event, two experts will discuss the root causes and multiple dimensions of this growing problem, the interventions and changes that are needed, and the innovative efforts already in place in New York to begin to reverse this dangerous trend.
Whether you are involved in health care and public policy, are a concerned citizen, or are simply curious, you'll gain new insights and better understand what it will take to combat obesity and promote good health.
